Die Systemeinstellungen scheinen an verschiedenen Orten gespeichert zu sein, je nachdem, ob sie benutzer- oder systemspezifisch sind. Viele von ihnen werden entweder in /Library/Preferences/oder gespeichert $HOME/Library/Preferences/(für benutzerspezifische Einstellungen). Aber jedes Einstellungsfenster hat seine eigene Art, sie zu speichern.

Sie können sehen, welche Einstellungen auf diese Weise gespeichert werden, indem Sie Folgendes eingeben:

Wo <domain>steht entweder der Anfang des Dateinamens in Ihren benutzerspezifischen Systemeinstellungen oder der vollständige Pfad zu einer .plistDatei. Zum Beispiel:

Es ist nahezu unmöglich, automatisch ein Skript zu erstellen, um alle erforderlichen Änderungen vorzunehmen. Mac-Systemadministratoren verbringen viele Stunden in dunklen Bars, trinken Bier oder Bourbon und tauschen Teile dieser Dateien aus - wir teilen diese Arbeit nur ungern, wenn Sie nicht bereit sind, die Rechnung zu übernehmen.

Besorgen Sie sich eine Kopie von InstallEase und machen Sie einen Schnappschuss von Ihrem neuen Mac. Casper hat ein Snapshot-Tool, das Sie anstelle von InstallEase verwenden können.

Als ich das letzte Mal eine saubere Neuinstallation durchgeführt habe, habe ich einfach den gesamten ~/Library/Preferences/Ordner kopiert, und ich bin deswegen auf keine Probleme gestoßen. Einstellungen für alte Versionen von Anwendungen und Mac-spezifische Einstellungen sollten einfach ignoriert werden. ~/Library/Preferences/Bei einer Neuinstallation sind fast keine Dateien in vorhanden, und wenn Sie alle Dateien in löschen ~/Library/Preferences/, werden die Einstellungsdateien neu erstellt, wenn sie benötigt werden.
