Mein 27-Zoll-iMac aus dem Jahr 2010 hat gerade ein RAM-Upgrade erhalten: Ich habe ein 16-GB-RAM-Kit von Crucial bei Amazon gekauft. Die Spezifikation erfüllt die Anforderungen dieses iMac-Modells und es hat gute Bewertungen.

Im Moment sind die Speicherplätze also zwei 2-GB-Original-RAM + zwei 8-GB-Crucial-RAM. Das System bootet einwandfrei, aber wenn ich schwere Aufgaben ausführe oder die Rember-Speichertest-App ausführe, stürzt es vollständig ab. Ich habe zwei Fotos beigefügt, die die RAM-Sitze und den Crash-Bildschirm zeigen.

Ich möchte ein Update posten: Ich habe zwei Corsair 4 GB RAM-Sticks gekauft. Sie funktionieren einwandfrei und haben den Speichertest bestanden. Es handelt sich in der Tat um ein Speicherkompatibilitätsproblem - mein 27-Zoll-Imac nimmt keine 8-GB-RAM-Sticks auf!

Der iMac i3-Prozessor von Mitte 2010 kann keine 8-GB-Sticks verarbeiten. Es kann nur bis zu 4 GB / Steckplatz tun.

Nur die i5- und i7-Versionen des iMac von Mitte 2010 können mit 8-GB-Sticks umgehen.

Upgrade des Prozessors und RAM auf meinem 2010 und versucht 2 x 8 GB (16 GB) mit dem i3 und hatte die gleichen Probleme wie OP.

Mit dem i7 kann ich maximal 4 x 8 GB (32 GB) ausschöpfen, okay.
